All Professions Now Have Easy Catch-up For Leveling With Draenor Mats

If you need to level a profession in Warlords, it will be a lot easier to do so. According to Elvine, every profession will have a “catch up” recipe to level.

We have seen this type of mechanic added for herbalism, where you could pick a Pandaria node and it would award a “petal” as well as a potential skillup point. Blacksmithing also saw “Training Projects” added. It would require current expansion mats, but it would potentially cost more money to do it this way than with old mats traditionally leveling. It would appear it is a similar idea in Mists of Draenor.
For Alchemy, there is a Recipe: Crescent Oil that only requires level one Alchemy to create Crescent Oil from 3 Crescent Saberfish Flesh, which can be fished from waters around Draenor. But as an added bonus, Crescent Oil is a required reagent for making a variety of Draenic potions, elixirs as well as the fun new item Transmorphic Tincture which changes ones gender temporarily.
What does this mean for auction house players that sell profession kits? It would seem leveling the old fashion way is still an option. However people will now be able to compare the cost of a kit to approximately 18 Crescent Saberfish Flesh for Alchemy, or whatever the various mats are for the quick leveling of each profession.
wow for nobies ???
This is a very nice change, instead of using 7-10k gold each time a new expansion launches because there is a better profession.
