View Your Characters As They Will Look In Warlords of Draenor

The other day I was playing around with Wowhead’s Profiler tool, and by importing my own personal dwarf and gnome character profiles I was able to view them as they will look come Warlords of Draenor. Like the rest of you I had seen the previews Blizzard released, but seeing my own characters with the new models was a surreal experience. Despite being very excited and generally positive to the new models, my initial reaction was hesitation and dislike. I’ve been wanting new character models since I started playing World of Warcraft back in 2009, feeling then that my human priest looked about as exciting as a tree log, so why wasn’t I happy to see my characters in their new skins?
Well, after a few minutes I started to get used to the idea of how they looked. I think it’s very natural for people to react negatively to something new, but now when I’ve come to terms with it I’ve regained my excitement for the new models. I think they look great! Granted, the gnome models might look a little bit too wide eyed and hysterical, but the adorable animations more than make up for that.
Have a look below and tell me what you think about the new character models. (Remember that not all models have been implemented yet, that Warlords of Draenor is still in Alpha and things are subject to change.)
The gnomes are pretty adorable.
Yeah, they sure are.
It may be important to point out that not all of the new models have been implemented yet, and because alpha is alpha, even the ones that HAVE been implemented may not be 100% final and locked-in. So take alpha appearances as an in-progress look and not a finished product.
Sorted 🙂
