Warlords of Draenor Beta Invites Available at PAX East

The first of the Warlords of Draenor beta invitations are now available, but unfortunately, you will have to be at PAX East in order to score one.
Warlords of Draenor will be available to play at PAX East, and when you play, you will receive one of the beta invite cards. However, the key is for a future beta testing phase, so you won’t be able to get home from PAX and immediately get on the beta.
Blizzard tweeted the following:
Play #Warlords of Draenor at #PAXEast and get a beta key for use in a future testing phase! pic.twitter.com/6MbSeeIJgx
There are currently stations set up at PAX East where players can get the first live in-game experience playing the Warlords of Draenor beta.
With how coveted these beta invitations will be, it will not be surprising at all to see them pop up on eBay for significant amounts of money, and already people are commenting on the twitter post that they are willing to pay for one. As of now, this is the only way to get a beta invite, but there should hopefully be more news on other ways players can get a beta invite, other than ensuring they are opted into the beta within their battle.net account.
Total slap in the face to everyone who attended BlizzCon 2013.
I don’t feel slapped in the face. I don’t like the idea of the invites getting sold on eBay, so I don’t like them being handed out as freebies either, but Blizzard needs reliable testers, not just a glut of people who were in the right place at the right time.
I’d like to remind people that while this gets you into the beta at some point, it doesn’t promise you’ll get in the beta right off the bat.
Not super huge on this decision.
I hate being poor, unable to save up to 1K to go to a convention for 3 days to get shit like this.
