Yes. In Tides of Vengeance, fist weapons can appear to be maces, one-hand axes, or one-hand swords, and maces, one-hand axes, or one-hand swords can be made to look like fist weapons. https://t.co/LPP0yOV5i9

WoW Classic: Spell Batching Discussion
CM’s pls don’t remove this post and ban me. Just watched the youtube video about all the stuff the last guy who posted about spell batching went through.
There hasn’t been a single post removed about spell batching, nor would anyone ever be penalized for expressing their opinion constructively. Also that post you’re talking about is still up.
This game would not be the same game without it so we really need a reply from blizzard about the legion engine spell issues.
I believe the removal of spell batching was in MoP in patch 5.0.1. I don’t have anything to share on it at this point in time but we have seen the very lengthy conversations about it. When we have something more concrete to share on it we will let you guys know!
Appears to be close though, Patch 5.4.7 was the reference to it. So definitely in the MoP era.
Ah okay! I was close. I knew it was a MoP change but didn’t know when. Also thanks for the blue post on where we communicated that change as I tried looking for it but couldn’t find it. Appreciate the correction and information!
8.0 Hotfixes: Mythic Uldir Nerfs, Grievous Wound Affix Nerf, General Fixes
Recent 8.0 hotfixes included many nerfs to Mythic Uldir, as well as the previously mentioned fixes to Algalon in Ulduar. Notably, the Grievous Wound M+ affix has also been nerfed.
Blizzard Previews Dwarf, Blood Elf Heritage Armor for 8.1
Blizzard issued a reminder of the two new heritage armor sets coming with the 8.1 “Tides of Vengeance” patch for Blood Elves and Dwarves.
We previously previewed the 8.1 PTR questlines, as well as the armor itself, for both races.
BlizzPro Recap
Battle for Azeroth Zone Assault Previews from the 8.1 PTR
Zone-wide assaults return in Battle for Azeroth with patch 8.1, “Tides of Vengeance.” Similar to Legion assaults, Kul Tiras and Zandalar will feature timed events where the competing faction will muster an offensive against your faction’s zones.
Last week, we began to dive in to assaults, looking at specific quests, gameplay, and things to look out for while you defend your faction’s zones:
- Horde Assault on Stormsong Valley (Alliance), WoW 8.1 PTR
- Horde Assault on Drustvar (Alliance), WoW 8.1 PTR
(SPOILERS) Tyrande and Anduin Cutscene from the 8.1 PTR
(SPOILERS) Tyrande and Anduin argue over the next course of action after Teldrassil has been destroyed by the Horde and faction tensions continue to rise on Zandalar and Kul’Tiras. Watch the cutscene and read more in our recap post.
(SPOILERS) Tyrande & Nathanos Darkshore Encounter Updates, WoW 8.1 PTR
(SPOILERS) The penultimate encounter between Tyrande and Nathanos at the end of the Darkshore intro quests has been updated slightly. The battlefield has been updated with new assets and lighting, and some abilities have been changed. Read more about it here.
