Garrison Menagerie Pet Battle Daily Quest: A Guide
by JR Cook - 10 years ago show comments
Warlords of Draenor has been out for a while now. Since the release you’ve probably cursed the trash in Molten Core, shed bitter tears over the Love Rocket‘s low drop rate, and developed an unhealthy need for checking in on your garrison far too many times per day. I’m not going to lie—at one point I considered the possibility of remotely connecting to my computer at home to send my followers out on missions when I was otherwise engaged. It was a brief moment of weakness, I’ve put it behind me, and let’s never speak of it again.
Let’s get down to business instead, shall we?
Patch 6.1 is drawing nearer and with it comes a string of new battle pets to collect; if you’ve not unlocked the Menagerie in your garrison yet, it’s about time you did. Below I’ll run through the basics of how it works.
Once you’ve reached level 100 and upgraded your garrison to tier 3, you’ll get a quest to unlock the Pet Menagerie
: one of four preset buildings available to you in your fort. Everyday, the Menagerie allows you to test your battle skills against elite pets in return for glorious rewards!
At each level the Menagerie offers different prizes and benefits, but naturally you’ll aim to reach level 3 as soon as possible as that will unlock a daily quest that can reward seven new battle pets:
Albino Chimaeraling, Firewing
, Ghastly Kid, Puddle Terror, Sun Sproutling, Sunfire Kaliri, and Weebomination.
- Level 1: Attracts elite pets you can battle for rewards. Also lets 5 of your battle pets hang out in your garrison.
- Level 2: Increases your trap chance and reduces the cooldown of Revive Battle Pets while in Draenor. Up to 10 of your pets can now hang out in your garrison.
- Level 3: Unlocks a pet battle daily with unique pet rewards.
The first step towards eternal pet battle glory is to complete the quest Pets Versus Pests, and luckily for you, BlizzPro has a guide on how to do just that. Go on and read it, we’ll wait.
Welcome back. I hear you’ve finally defeated that pesky carrot. Now what?
At level 3, one or several elite pets will show up at your garrison once per day. Defeating them will award you with a Big Bag of Pet Supplies that can contain Pet Charm
s, battle-training stones, but also one of the aforementioned battle pets.
One of the following pet challenges will be available every day—if you keep track of the order of them it’s easy to plan ahead for when an opportune challenge appears. The pet challenges are repeatable which means that, with the right team, you can power level low-level pets. Particularly the last two challenges on the list are perfect for leveling pets.
