You looking for something special? Got that new 100 that you want to stand out? Perhaps you want to disappear from sight? Never mind that shoddy looking oil lamp. What you need is a true treasure. Not sure where to start? Come with me, and I will show you some great items that will make your adventures that much grander. Join us weekly as we scour the lands of Azeroth and beyond for those special items. I, BLU3 the Relic Hunter, will be your guide to these mysterious items. Welcome to the Relic Hunter’s Toybox.
Does Draenor got you grounded? Do you just want to fly away? This sounds very much like the situation of the Arakkoa Outcasts. Hanging out with the outcasts may not make you popular. It is very freeing. The outcasts are the group that were punished by being cursed, and banished from the skies. Being cast out of such a tyrannical society has made the outcasts very accepting. They will accept and encourage all those who are willing to lend a helping hand. This said it is just a matter of pride that we wear the outcast gear.
The ravagers have become very aggressive in their attempts to expand into Spires of Arak. The Kaliri owls have been hit pretty hard. There is no shortage of Kaliri that need someone to foster them. If you are willing to help out, you can get your very own Ikky. You can start by helping this poor abandoned hatchling out of Ikky’s Egg. Once this Baby Bird
is free of his egg you will need to feed it so it has some strength to flee from the ravagers. Once its belly is full it will take off to the safety of the nearest Arakkoa outcast settlement. Once you return to Veil Terrok Ikky will be waiting there for you. Ikky will be happy to accompany you anywhere in hopes of more grubs.
When the Arakkoa go to battle their go to weapon is the wingblade. This fist weapon is designed to take advantage of the quick movements they can make with their wings. This unique weapon can be very difficult to find. The Arakkoa hand down these weapons.
However in my travels in Zul’Drak
, I was able to acquire a set of them. Deep in the caverns of Gundrak you will find the high prophet Moorabi. If you can best Moorabi you have a chance to find one of his Fist of the deity. This unique weapon will catch the eye of any passing chicks.
If you are looking to go full on bird, you will need to get your claws on a Time-lost Figurine. This relic will give you the appearance of an Arakkoa. This sought after piece can be hard to find. You will need to summon Terrok from the giant bone pile located in the Terokkar Forest of Outland(not Draenor).
To summon Terrok you will need to speak with Hazzik
. He will request you gather the Tokens of the Descendants. Once you have gathered these he will give you the Time-lost Offering. With this you can finally use it at the giant bone pile to summon Terokk. This ritual needs to be done by yourself or a trusted group. Bandits regularly patrol the area hoping to steal your hard earned loot. Once you defeat Terokk, make a prayer to Anzu that he will bless you with a figurine. Once you obtain a figurine, you are ready to hang with your peeps.
I feel that the Arakkoa were given a raw deal by having their flight taken from them. I was able to find a partial cure while I was hanging out at my garrison inn. I met Skylord Omnuron. He tasked me with completing Avianna’s Request. To complete this task I had to travel to Skyreach and obtain a Pristine Plumage. After a heroic attempt, I managed to acquire the item. I was given Aviana’s Feather. This amazing relic allows you to leap high into the air, and take a long gentle flight. It makes traveling around Draenor a breeze.
Glad you could join me! Keep your eyes open and your hands quick. You never know when you will see that next rare item. If you find any great items you want spotlighted feel free to leave a comment.
