World of Warcraft lead encounter designer Ion “Watcher” Hazzikostas mentioned on Twitter recently that flexible raids might see a higher player cap in Warlords of Draenor:
.@Suzushiiro We're looking at a 30 top end to accommodate existing 25s social structures. But no promises. Performance may be prohibitive.

The latest expansion is promised to provide three flexible (“flex”) raiding modes, including raid finder, normal and heroic, as well as a 20-man mythic raiding echelon. While the increased player cap for flex mode raiding is interesting on its own, one wonders if this decision might stretch to WoD’s new “mythic” raiding difficulty, as well.
