Last Week on BlizzPro: July 5th – July 11th

by - 8 years ago

Last week was a bit light on the news since it was a short week in the US with Independence Day taking place on Monday and celebration recovery day on Tuesday, but that doesn’t mean there was no news out of Blizzard.

Tyvalir returned to the Diablo community team after dabbling in the Koprulu Sector for a bit with the StarCraft II team, there was an announcement that the end of Season 6 would be happening July 22nd, and to make up for an “unintended feature” which prevented certain cosmetic items from dropping the D3 team added a Double Blood Shard weekend to help make up for it.

The latest episode of the Well Met! podcast went on in spite of a temporarily missing cohost, Gul’dan hit the PTR in Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch continues to hint at a new hero who may be announced at or prior to Comic Con, and the World of Warcraft team are preparing for the release of the Legion pre-expansion patch to Live realms by announcing the end of the PvP season, a new series of animated shorts leading into the expansion, and testing the launch day experience on the Beta realms.

We’ve got links to all this news and more below. Let us know what you think the best news out of last week was and what’s got you hyped this week in the comments!
