At BlizzCon I had an opportunity to sit down and talk with Art Director Ben Thompson and Balance Designer Dean Ayala about the upcoming League of Explorers Adventure and what’s coming up next in Hearthstone.
In this interview we talk about what League of Explorers is all about, if the expansion/adventure mode cycle is set in stone for the future, thoughts on the current meta and design choices that might change it, if new heroes like a Death Knight of Monk will ever come to the game (spoiler alert: no), and predictions on what deck might surprise people as heading toward the top of the meta ranks after League of Explorers is fully explored.
