The Payload Podcast: Episode 2

by - 8 years ago

You know what they say: The world could always use more heroes! On The Payload, your hosts Jimmy, John, and Kevin will look at all things Overwatch: News, eSports, gameplay, and more. Join the boys every Thursday for the live stream, or download our audio episodes Fridays!

On our second episode, we’re talking about the obvious – Overwatch closed beta being officially live! With that, we look at what organizations are considering fielding eSports teams for Overwatch, some first impressions about the game client now that it’s out there, and our thoughts on a question posed to the hosts about adding abilities to existing heroes.

We also touch on Microsoft’s continued sponsorship of the BlizzCon Opening Week and how it looks increasingly likely that an Xbox-related Overwatch announcement is in the cards at BlizzCon itself.

Also please take some time to support Jake who made our awesome music over at: jakebutineau.ca

We stream ourselves recording the show live every week over at www.twitch.tv/blizzpro Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Pacific.
