Updates Coming to Player Profiles

by - 9 years ago

Grimiku stopped by the forums yesterday to let players know that Blizzard intends to update the Diablo Player Profiles with some of the new features coming in Patch 2.3. Blizzard wants to include powers granted via Kanai’s Cube into the Player Profiles so they are viewable for others, much like our gear and skill choices can be viewed offline already. Some players are raising concerns that this update may reveal secrets players are using at the very top of the competitive leaderboards, but the in-game profiles will update immediately upon achieving a new rank in Patch 2.3. At the moment there is no time frame for when this update will come, but I wonder if they’ll add anything else this time around.

Players have long asked for things like Achievements, Conquests, or even Banners to be viewable to make our online profiles closer to the WoW Armory. I would love to be able to also re-arrange the characters on my profile to better show off my seasonal characters.

Are Kanai’s Cube powers something you want to see in your online profile? Would you like to see Achievement Points get added? Or what other updates would you like to see?

Currently, our plan is to include powers granted via Kanai’s Cube on the player profile. We do not have any additional details to share about this feature just yet, but we do appreciate the feedback and wanted to let you know that it’s on the way.
