The Grand Tournament Vote Reveal #2: Managing the Coliseum

by - 9 years ago

GrandTournamentHeader

The first card revealed from The Grand Tournament voting process on the official site is here, and it is a very interesting early card.

Coliseum Manager

The Coliseum Manager has 5 hp, with allows it to value trade against earlier minions. The kicker is that you can easily return it to your hand and play at again to get even more value. The problem is that this gameplan is really slow. Perhaps this would be a decent arena pickup just based on their stats, and depending on the new inspire synergies this could end up being a part of some sort of combo deck, although that looks like a stretch.

If you are looking to see a more impactful card, the next vote is already live, go to the official Hearthstone site to submit your vote! The next card in the reveal is guaranteed to be legendary, and Blizzard is offering us a chance to reveal both cards. Just send out a tweet with the #TGTLegendary hashtag so you can help the cause.

I’m really struggling to find a good usage case for this card.

It makes Screeching Spirit useful! Haha.

Now imagine this ability on a Hunter specific card. That has Charge.

      • MisterCrow says:

That’s exactly the thing, isn’t it? You need charge or taunt on this for it to be useful. Your opponent is probably incentivized to leave it alive because it’ll make you think twice about using your hero power.
