We just finished giving away 40 Hearthstone beta keys earlier today – and now we have 300 more to figure out what to do with. We had roughly 21,000 entries for the 40 keys, which I then had to do some data massaging to get rid of dupes and bots that had entered. Even with doing that we still had around 15,000 entries… for 40 keys. That is insane and I am floored by how much hype there is for this game right now.

I’d love to give all of our readers and fans keys, but unfortunately we have a limited supply. So how can you try to win these remaining 300 we have left? Well, we’ll try to keep it somewhat easy although we’re going to ask you to do just a little bit more this time around to try and keep potential multiple entries and bots to a low.

I am going to say this here right now though – emailing me or any of the staff or begging for keys on Twitter or social media will not increase your chances. 

Contest 1 – Twitter (50 keys)

Contest starts right now and will end at 6 PM CST on Monday October 14. Winners will be selected using random.org and your keys will be DMd to you on Twitter.

Contest 2 – Facebook (50 keys)

Contest will begin at 6 PM CST Monday October 14 and will end at 6 PM CST Tuesday October 15.

You will need to Like BlizzPro, TwizzCast, and HearthPro Podcast on Facebook in order to enter and also filling out this form.

Contest 3 – YouTube (50 keys)

Contest will begin at 6 PM CST Tuesday October 15 and will end at 6 PM CST Wednesday October 16.

You will need to subscribe to the BlizzPro Youtube channel and also fill out a form to enter.

Contest 4 – What’s Your Favorite Card? (100 keys)

Contest will begin at 6 PM CST Wednesday October 16 and will end at 6 PM CST Thursday October 17.

Hate social media contests? This one will be for you. It will be like our past 40 key contest except this time with more keys. You will need to answer a simple question though on this entry in hopes of decreasing the amount of bots that enter.

EDIT: This contest has ENDED. Will try to have winners selected and notified by email FRIDAY by 6 PM CST. The reason for this is because of the amount of entries that were bots that we have to remove.

Contest 5 – Being a Good Human Being (50 keys)

I’m not sure how to really describe this contest as there’s no way to really enter. Just be a decent human being and an active member in the community. I might show up on TwizzCast on Thursday night and give some keys away on their live show (follow them at http://twitch.tv/twizzcast to be notified when they go live). I might hand them out to active members of our forum community. I might hand them out to people who make good comments on our articles. I might give them out to someone who makes a good comment on Facebook or Twitter or I might even head over to the Hearthstone Subreddit (please don’t go create new threads there as an attempt to “win”! That’s not what this is about) and give a few out there. This is my own personal way of having fun with the keys and making sure they find good homes with legit people who are ultimately excited to play this game.

I’ll tell you who they won’t go to though… beggars. I plan on having all 50 of these keys given out between now and Thursday evening.
