This year has been one of the least hyped Blizzcons… ever? In fact you can still buy tickets right now on the official website. And resale? Not exactly a profitable enterprise. This could be due to any number of reasons such as: Bobby K being an asswipe Blizzard fans feeling squeezed dry by corporate practices Game quality/Free to play models Everything that happened summer of 2021 And of course. Hearthstone’s newest expansion Festival of Legends was revealed on March 14th and is set to be released soon TM. It is a perfect example of what Hearthstone should be. It looks fun, chaotic, delightful, and has a banger opening number. But there is one glaringly obvious mistake that the Hearthstone team has made. It’s exactly as I predicted back when United in Stormwind was first announced… we’re going to VC! Yes. It’s VC. It’s not DM!!! It’s VC. Why? Because in vanilla WoW there was both the Deadmines and Diremaul both of which could have been abbreviated as DM, so instead players took to calling the Deadmines VC in honor of the boss Van Cleef. PC Gamer recently sat down with Ben Brode following last week’s livestream Q&A. The conversation focused heavily on possible nerfs and rotations related to pirates and the upcoming standard rotation. Here are some highlights from the interview: Of the “pirate package” cards, it is Small-Time Buccaneer, not Patches, that is the problem. New Hearthstone Esports/ Travel Agent Services

Yesterday morning, Blizzard launched new, official Hearthstone Esports dedicated Twitter (@HSEsports) and Facebook (facebook.com/HearthstoneEsports) accounts. The inaugural post for both accounts was an announcement about the recently-announced HCT Bahamas location. The announcement was two-fold: 1) Blizzard has negotiated reduced hotel rates with the hotel that will be hosting the event; and 2) attendees of HCT Bahamas will receive the Power Core card back, a second unrevealed card back, and a “unique souvenir.” The team has confirmed that the mystery card back will be available at future HCT events (source), but “unique souvenir” sounds like it will be limited to this […]
