2nd Anniversary Event Gets Going in Style
by JR Cook - 7 years ago show comments
Overwatch’s 2nd Anniversary Event started on Monday with a bonus legendary lootbox (containing a guaranteed Legendary item) for everyone who logs in during the event, which ends June 11. There are 11 new skins, a stable of rotating game modes and a mini competitive season for 8 person FFA Deathmatch that starts today. Lets take a look at the new skins starting off, as always, with Lucio: Lucio’s Epic “Bitrate” skin features an equalizer on his goggles and a whole lot of pink. It’s good to see Overwatch’s premier DJ getting some love in the cosmetics department. Big Ben strikes […]
Mercy and Junkrat updates go live
by JR Cook - 7 years ago show comments
Much-anticipated changes to Mercy and Junkrat finally went live with the latest Overwatch patch on Jan. 30. Whether you love the changes or hate them, they’re here to stay. buy atarax online https://staycobblestone.com/wp-content/uploads/imagecleanup/0/logs/atarax.html Valkyrie isn’t dead. It’s just different. This will massively affect not only team cooperation but the hero meta in general. This nerf to Mercy’s ultimate makes room in the meta for Lucio and Moira to contribute more than they have been previously. Now that the double resurrect is dead and hopefully gone, teams will need to figure out a new way to keep everyone alive and fighting. […]
Changes for Mercy and Junkrat make it to PTR
by JR Cook - 7 years ago show comments
On Jan. 4 Blizzard rolled out major changes to Junkrat and Mercy on the Public Test Realm. Junkrat has seen a slight nerf to his concussions mines and Mercy, especially her ultimate, has been majorly nerfed. For Junkrat, the changes aren’t too major: This is a change that the community has been clamoring for a while. Maybe not this specific change, but there has somewhat of a general consensus that some kind of nerf needed to happen to Junkrat ever since his concussion mine was given a second charge. With this second charge and the unmitigated splash damage, Junkrat became […]
A look at 2017’s Winter Wonderland skins
by JR Cook - 7 years ago show comments
Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland event started on Dec. 12 and gave fans a ton of other sprays, emotes, victory poses and 7 new frosty skins available only while the snow is on the ground. If your drops have been cold or you just can’t decide which skin to spend your hard earned coinage on; don’t worry. We’re going to figure this out together. Avalanche Bastion Bastion looks all ready to hit the slopes with his puffball hat and sleek new color scheme, but those eyes. They remind me of Murloc eyes, but somehow more hollow and dead. Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland Event returns Dec. 12
by JR Cook - 7 years ago show comments
It’s that time of year again. Time for peppermint hooks, snowy map skins and antlers on Torb turrets. That’s right, Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland is back. In a developer’s update on Dec. 7, Overwatch Director Jeff Kaplan said Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland Event would be returning to the game on Dec. 12. Kaplan said there would be a number of new skins coming out for the event, including legendaries for Junkrat and Roadhog. Kaplan also suggested there would be a skin for Hanzo based on his appearance in last tear’s Winter Wonderland comic. More details on all of the skins will be […]
Balance Update for November 1, 2017
by JR Cook - 8 years ago show comments
A new Balance Update has been released containing quite a few changes. Heroes receiving buffs include Junkrat, Stukov, and Muradin. Muradin also received additional buffs in the form of bug fixes. Heroes being nerfed include Valla, Azmodan, and Zagara. One of the bigger changes may turn out to be the removal of the additional Minion & Mercenary Health buff from Azmodan’s Trait, General of Hell (D). This gave Azmodan great passive push potential, especially against players who didn’t know to kill the General first. Azmodan had been sitting near the top of the win rates and becoming increasingly popular but […]
Junkrat and Hallow’s End Now Live
by JR Cook - 8 years ago show comments
The latest patch for Heroes of the Storm brings with it a new Hero in Junkrat, a return of the Hallow’s End event, a ton of new holiday-themed skins and mounts and reworks to Muradin and Zul’jin. Junkrat is ranged Assassin. Where he will fit in the meta is still up in the air, but one thing everyone seems to agree on is that he is really fun to play. Be warned: the knockback on his Concussion Mine (Q) ability is huge. Don’t get caught off guard and blown into a bad position. Fans of Heroes esports might recognize his victory celebration. Junkrat Spotlight Video Released
by JR Cook - 8 years ago show comments
Junkrat is available to play now on the PTR, but if you don’t have time to log into the PTR or you would like to learn more about his backstory, then this Spotlight video is for you. As you can see, his kit is very reminiscent of how he plays in Overwatch. I like how they have done the targeting for his Frag Launcher (Q) ability making it more than just a straight line skill shot. It is also worth noting that the knockback on Concussion Mine (W) is HUGE buy cozaar online https://dentpro.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/cozaar.html online pharmacy buy celexa no prescription . […]

Just when you thought it was safe to enter the Nexus… The latest In Development video provides players with their first look at Junkrat as well as a loaded candy bucket full of new Hallow’s End themed skins. While we still don’t have any details about Junkrat’s kit, we do know that he will be an Assassin and the video does show what may be his taunt emote. Heroes receiving spooky new skins this year for Hallow’s End include Greymane, Valeera, Gazlowe, Brightwing, Cho’Gall, Chromie, and Murky. Also on the way are some hauntingly sweet new horse mounts.
