Welcome to the Horadrim Corner! Come gather by the fire and talk about the builds you all want to see! Let the ancient knowledge of the Horadrim assist your quest for greatness as you slaughter the demons that stand in your way. For all that is good, build yourself into a warrior worthy of Pandemonium!
Hello and here we are again with another edition of the Horadrim Corner. This week we will be featuring a build submitted by our good friend Mikey, with his version of the Dagger of Darts Witch Doctor. With the recent update to the Zunimassa’s pet set, this build became one of the most powerful of the many Witch Doctor options and continues to dazzle with the sheer sight of the hail of darts. With all the attacks, you could theoretically blot out the sun, but instead we shall use it for the simple task of slaughtering demons. And without further ado, here it is:
Actives
Poison Dart – Snake to the Face: Instead of Snakes on a Plane, we get Snakes to the Face! A few stuns here and there never hurt anybody.
Piranhas – Piranhado: Pulling all of those enemies together allows them all to get hit with your Poison Darts on top of providing hard CC.
Big Bad Voodoo – Slam Dance: Great for both solo and party play, this is just a huge boost to your clear speed, especially at Rift Guardians.
Spirit Walk – Jaunt: Your “Get Outta Town” skill, this helps you get out of any sticky situation. Whether it be from elite affixes or a tight corner, freedom will be yours.
Spirit Barrage – Phantasm: Used to help activate the 6-piece bonus from the Zunimassa’s, this is a cheap, efficient skill to help that along.
Fetish Army – Legion of Daggers: A Legion of Daggers to go with your Dagger of Darts and let loose even more attacks.
Passives
Gruesome Feast: A nice damage and resource management skill to help you clear the field.
Fetish Sycophants: MORE FETISHES!
Spirit Vessel: Necessary in most any build, the Witch Doctor cheat death is one of the best, giving a great secondary affect also.
Pierce the Veil: With Gruesome Feast and the excessive use of a free skill in Poison Dart, this is a huge killing boost.

Items
Core:
Zunimassa’s Haunt: One of the major parts to make this build possible, you will need at least 5 pieces, and preferably 6 minus the Head piece to take full advantage.
The Dagger of Darts: Without this your area of effect damage is almost non-existent. Absolutely required to make the build work.
Carnevil: The other needed piece of gear, this makes your army of Fetishes all bob in union as you unleash a barrage on the enemy.
Witching Hour: Probably the best offensive belt in the game, this will just compliment the huge amounts of damage you will be putting out.
Optional:
Ring – Zunimassa’s Pox or Ring of Royal Grandeur: Either can be used here to fill out the 6 piece set of Zunimassa’s.
Ring – Unity or Convention of the Elements: This slot can be used for either offense or defense, depending on your needs.
Amulet – Hellfire Amulet or Countess Julia’s Cameo: The obvious answer here is a well rolled Hellfire, but with the difficulty involved in getting one, it becomes more practical to use a strong immunity amulet.
Legendary Gems:
Simplicity’s Strength: Since your main damage dealer is a primary skill, this is easily the best gem you could use.
Gogok of Swiftness: More attack speed means more darts! And with the increased cooldown you can Spirit Walk more often, increasing survivability.
Bane of the Trapped or Enforcer: In a group setting BoT will offer a greater increase, but with a lack of consistent CC in this build and constantly being at range, Enforcer will help your pets and, in turn, you survive.
Every other week, we will be featuring a different build for a different class, rotating through to spread the love around. If you have a cool build that you are using and would like to share with the community, send it over to my email: threedaysjpt@blizzpro.com. Send me pictures, notes, items, skills, everything!
You should not be using SPIRIT BARRAGE – PHANTASM. There is a better skill to PROC the benefit from the 6 piece Zunimassa’s Set. Plus the rune you are using is Cold Damage. And you wanna be using Poison Skills where possible to maximize the bonus of your elemental damage buff
Haunt – Poisoned Spirit – Causes affected enemies to take 20% more damage. This also PROCs the 6 Piece Set Bonus. It also does poison damage which scales with the elemental damage you already have on your gear (which should be poison). In addition to this it also cost 50 Mana LESS than Spirit Barrage. It moves onto other enemies upon their death, reducing the amount of times you need to cast it and providing better crowd control to those enemies outside your Pirnhado.
Grasp of the Dead WITH your Piranhado gives you even more crowd control for higher greater rifts and is a common skill used the higher you go up the ladder. The rune alternates between different high ranking people on the leaderboards.
