Gamestop Offering Pre-Orders for Overwatch on PS4, Xbox One

News broke out on Kotaku today that Gamestop was starting pre-orders for Overwatch on both PC and Console (Ps4 and Xbox One). I called into my local Gamestop and sure enough, their in store system had these items available for pre-order today for $60. It’s unsure right now if that is the final price as it could be a placeholder, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
We’ve been speculating quite a bit that Overwatch would probably be coming to consoles because controller support was built into the game – it seemed like an easy enough move to make. With Microsoft in attendance and live streaming the opening ceremonies it all but basically confirmed we would be seeing Overwatch come to at least the Xbox One.
Absent from the pre-order list is Overwatch for Mac computers. As you know, there is no beta on the Mac version, however, like other Blizzard titles it could be sold as a PC/Mac game still – but it’s not evident that is the case on the pre-order.
We’ll certainly find out more information tomorrow at BlizzCon.
