In this column, we like to feature a very different side of Hearthstone and the Hearthstone player community. We search the web for user created content inspired by Hearthstone, and share it with you whenever we can.
Ever wondered why legendary gold minions are so expensive? Because it takes a lot of effort from a lot of murlocs. Hunqwert on Deviant Art wondered the same thing, and decided to paint a picture of the manufacturing process.
The image was originally created for a hungarian Hearthstone fansite contest.
Hunqwert explains: “I try to illustrate that how a legendary card is made and why it costs so much arcane dust. You can see Illidan Stormrage’s name on our hungarian red-white-green national flag, but his name sounds very strange in hungarian language, so we called him as ‘Viharharagos Iláj’.”
Hearthstone is created with an international audience in mind, and fans of the game have embraced it worldwide. Not surprisingly, hearing a golden legendary card revealed in a variety of languages is, well, kind of… legendary.
