Overwatch’s 2nd Anniversary Event started on Monday with a bonus legendary lootbox (containing a guaranteed Legendary item) for everyone who logs in during the event, which ends June 11.

There are 11 new skins, a stable of rotating game modes and a mini competitive season for 8 person FFA Deathmatch that starts today.

Lets take a look at the new skins starting off, as always, with Lucio:

Lucio’s Epic “Bitrate” skin features an equalizer on his goggles and a whole lot of pink. It’s good to see Overwatch’s premier DJ getting some love in the cosmetics department.

Big Ben strikes noon with McCree’s newest Legendary skin: “Sherlock”. Soon you’ll be solving mysteries like: “The Phantom Point Capture” and “The Ripper of King’s Row”. Who gets to be Watson this time?Well, it was a long time coming, but Junkrat finally has a pirate skin to go along with his partner in crime: Roadhog. “Buccaneer” is available as a Legendary skin this year. Batten the hatches when the Junk-mains get their hands on this one.

This needed to happen – Doomfist broke out the tux for this Legendary “Formal” skin. Even the fist has received a nice makeover. I think this skin really helps Doomfist pull off that “Talon Supervillain” look quite well.

Tracer’s Epic “Lightning” skin is loud – don’t expect to be too stealthy in this one. She’s also gone blonde for this one, a bold new look, but one I think pays off for Oxton.

A skin worthy of a true warrior, Brigitte’s Legendary “Shieldmaiden” skin makes me want to charge right into battle and beat the sense out of some hapless Genji. She’s gone blonde as wears a bearskin for this, but that’s not the best part of this skin.

The best part, is what they’ve done to her flail:

Yup, those are blades, on the flail. You know what? I’m going to get this skin as soon as this article is done.

Bastion’s Legendary “Stealth” skin kind of looks like a mashup between a Cylon and a Stealth bomber – The best part about it? The other team will never hear you coming.

This might be my personal favorite from this year. Orisa’s Legendary “Forest Spirit” makes the tank look like a super OP Night Elf unit. They could have also called this skin “Ancient of Protection” or something like that. Once again, other parts of the Blizzard universe have come to Overwatch and once again, it’s pretty fantastic.

Soldier’s Epic “Venom” skin was one of the first revealed for the Anniversary event. It makes Solider look like some kind of Talon grunt, while he’s undercover maybe? I like to think it’s from Soldier’s time in Cobra (yes I know this isn’t canon).

Symmetra’s Legendary “Magician” skin was revealed on Saturday at the Overwatch League. They gave her a top hat and a bow tie! Now you can tilt the other team in style.

Finally, the Legendary “CYBJÖRN” skin is one to behold. This skin is just cool, it’s awesome, it makes me want to play Torb.
