Can’t wait to learn more about the new Overwatch map Junkertown? What went into making this new map? What challenges will we face? We get direct tie ins from the latest comic highlighted in this new map.

Junkertown is an escort map. You will begin on the outskirts of town at Roadhog’s home. The environment starts out simple with nods to the infamous criminal duo.

Next stage of the map Junkertown proper you get a more crowded feel as people are building on and up of everything else. You can expect tight turns, blind corners and plenty of hiding places just right for ambushes in this section.

The final area is the Scrap Yard. This fighting arena has definite post apocalypse movie vibes going on. The scrapyard will offer lots of unique gameplay areas from a giant rotating fan to multiple choke point options and workarounds.

What strategies will you employ to make it through this new map? You won’t have much time Junkertown is scheduled to release this month.
