
Temple of Orsis: Heroic Deck Lists and Videos

The League of Explorer’s is out and the challenge of heroic bosses are on us once again. I actually just used a standard Aggro Druid for the first 2 bosses and finished up with a control shaman deck for the final boss on normal, however, heroic is where the real fun is at and what we’ll look at. The following are the deck lists I used along with a video of each match to show how the deck was played.
Heroic Zinaar
This is a pretty tricky fight actually. His heroic hero power gives you a 0 mana wish but also allows the boss to draw a card and gain a mana crystal. This means the boss can put out some pretty big creatures and also flood the board really quickly. However, the nice trick about him giving you 0 mana spells is you can abuse that with cards like Flamewaker and Archmage Antonidas. Hold on to your wishes until you get a Flamewaker in your hand and if you can hold out long enough you won’t have too much trouble clearing the board. Use your removal spells wisely along with your Mana Wyrms and you’ll pull away from victory. This deck took me 3 tries to get the win.

Heroic Sun Raider Phaerix
Instead of a 0/5 staff he gets a 3/8 staff that only give him immunity. So just silence the damn thing, kill it, and don’t worry about it ever again. Pump up your Deathlords and this is one of the easiest heroics you’ll get. Got it on my first try.

Heroic Temple Escape
This is basically like the normal encounter except the minions are bigger and the amount of time you have to survive is longer. So Freeze mage it is! Just be aware that turn 5 is when the wall collapses and kills everything so don’t waste your Freeze + Doomsayer at that point, save it for later if needed. If you get to turn 6 and have a couple Blizzard’s in your hand + Frost Nova then definitely pop the turn earlier card. Minions can’t kill you if they’re frozen. This deck took me 2 tries, should have had it on my first but I messed up my doomsayer combo on my first attempt.
