Blizzard has released an update to the iOS Mobile Battle.net Authenticator, updating it to version 2.0. Android received an update today as well to 1.1.3, but generally they try to keep parity between the two so expect to see this 2.0 update there soon as well.

Version notes are below along with screenshots of all the gorgeous new artwork and remade app that uses the full resolution of the newest devices (in this case the screenshots come from an iPhone 6 Plus):

* Brand new design – Authenticator has received a modern design refresh and an extra layer of polish, plus you can see great Blizzard franchise art every time you load up the digital code.

* iCloud restore – We’ve streamlined setup and made it easier to restore by using iCloud back up.

* Usability improvements – Getting a code now features an improved visual indicator, easy clipboard copy, and an animated count-down.
