Connect Battle.net with XBox Live & Playstation Network for in-game reward

A brand new feature has popped up in Battle.net that now allows you to connect your Battle.net account with both your Playstation Network account and your XBox Live account, something that Diablo III fans have been requesting since the game was released last year on both XBox and Playstation.
To access the new feature, simply login to your Battle.net account on the website, click “Games & Codes” and you will see the option from the drop down menu for connected accounts.
When you click to connect to your XBox Live account, it will ask permission for you to go to XBox.com and connect your accounts.
One you go to XBox Live, simply login to your XBox Live account, and you will be connected.
In August, Blizzard is releasing Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, and it appears that when you connect your accounts, you will receive an in-game reward for connecting them, according to the “Success!” notice after you connect your account. Unfortunately, it doesn’t say exactly what the in-game reward is, but we should know closer to launch or when the feature is announced.
Having Blizzard accounts connected to both XBox Live and Playstation Network could open the door for other Blizzard games for both XBox and Playstation. Hearthstone could easily be played on a console, and it would open the game to an entirely new non-PC-playing audience to Blizzard games as well.
This is an about-face from last year when Blizzard said there were no plans to connect Battle.net with the console versions of the games.
Keep that FUCKING PEASANTRY out of my Battle.net.
Filthy console peasants are always finding ways to corrupt the glorious PC gamer master race.
I want cross platform and I want it now. PC/PS3/PS4/XBOX doesn’t matter what, you still should be able all characters.
