Team Solary’s Deckbuilder Showdown Hits Twitch This Week

Team Solary is bringing something refreshingly different to Hearthstone this week. The Deckbuilder Showdown drops eight players onto brand-new accounts with zero established collections and turns them loose on Escape from Violet Hold. No net decks, no meta staples, just whatever they open from packs and the creativity to make it work.
The format is simple and chaotic in the best way. Eight creators split into four teams of two, crack packs on fresh accounts, and build decks from scratch. They’ll be racing to assemble the strongest lists they can from whatever legendaries and synergies the randomness of pack openings throws at them. It’s a total reset that puts deckbuilding skill front and center.
The event goes live on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel on July 16 and 17, starting at 6:00 a.m. PDT (15:00 CEST) each day. DaneHearth and Darroch Brown will be casting the action, with Odemian hosting from France. If you’re planning to watch both days live, the HyperX Cloud III Wireless is a solid pick for marathon viewing sessions without the cable hassle.
The teams competing are Team Emerald (BabyBear and Otsuna), Team Violet (Jambre and Feelink), Team Crystal (Gaby and Slyders), and one more duo that’ll be announced. The fresh-account angle means nobody has access to the usual tournament-level collections, so expect unexpected card choices and wild deck experiments that you’d never see in a standard competitive bracket.

Eight players will split into teams and build decks on brand-new accounts with the cards they’ll open. No established collections; just clever deckbuilding, unexpected plays, and a race to build the strongest deck and win the trophy. 
Hosted in France (our host is Odemian) and cast by DaneHearth and Hearthstone Esports’ own Darroch Brown, this event will showcase fresh decks, new strategies, and more.
The event will happen LIVE on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel on July 16 and 17, starting at 6:00 a.m. PDT each day (15:00 CEST).
