The Arena World Championship (AWC) and Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) Season 1 Finals are set to kick off June 5, bringing the first competitive season of Midnight to its climax. Both tournaments are running back-to-back through June 14, with BlizzCon qualification hanging in the balance for the world’s best PvP teams and dungeon runners.

AWC Season 1 Finals: Europe and North America Battle for BlizzCon

In Europe, Echo has dominated the season with consistency that’s made them the clear favorites heading into finals. Streamerzone.gg has proven they can challenge that dominance, but behind them sits a cluster of teams like Borgir King, Stop Nerf MW, Dobob, Habos Babos, and Last Dance who’ve all shown flashes of brilliance without quite putting together a complete run. The Season 1 Finals are their last shot to break through and secure a BlizzCon spot.

North America has been a two-team race all season between Gators Back and Welcome to the Jung, with both squads adapting quickly to meta shifts and racking up consistent Cup wins. F Tier, Dire Wolves, Guild Bean, The Shuffle Club, and Mom I’m On Stream are all capable of upsets, and they’ll need to deliver their best performances yet if they want to crack into BlizzCon qualification.

The AWC Season 1 Finals run June 5-7, with teams battling through The Gauntlet for their shot at BlizzCon. Then on June 12, a new Cross-Region Playoff will decide the final Grand Finals spot. MDI Season 1 Finals: Speedrunning Returns With Eight Top Teams

The Mythic Dungeon International wrapped up its Groups Stage last weekend, locking in the eight teams competing for four total BlizzCon spots. The reintroduced speedrunning format has made for tight races and dramatic lower bracket runs all season.

Group A saw Mandatory’s all-star roster kick things off with a perfect deathless weekend, while Send Spellbook clawed through the lower bracket to qualify. In Group B, The Triple Threat (a new roster pulling talent from Echo, Liquid, and Method guilds) took the lower bracket path past Antti’s Angels to claim their spot. Group C delivered a clash between defending champions Dignitas (formerly Missed Count) and 2025 runners-up Liquid, with Dignitas advancing in a closely contested match.

These six teams will face the top two squads from China in the Season 1 Finals, competing June 12-14 for those four precious BlizzCon Grand Finals spots.
