Identity Enigma #4: The Grass is Greener on the Other Side

While joining your friends at the local tavern might make for an evening of entertainment; meeting new people can be just as rewarding, although maybe a bit dangerous. New faces pop up in the tavern all the time, countless stories are shared among the patrons, and often enough issues will be resolved right then and there. But have you been paying attention to your surroundings? Let’s put your skills of observation and memory to the test and see if you can identify these strangers!
Welcome to Identity Enigma, the new puzzle where it’s your job to identify three Hearthstone Cards based on little clues. The clues can make reference to the card’s ability, its stats, its voice acting, or their flavor text. Maybe I’ll just reference their Warcraft lore, or perhaps just something that has made them notable in Hearthstone. What about having just a silly play on its name? Everything is possible on Identity Enigma!
Daren, it appears that Horde players are not very familiar with the creatures of Westfall.Dominance is still up in the air as a new challenger has claimed the prize every week, will this be your turn to be numero uno?
Good luck, traveler.
One Sour Beer Please!
“This flamenco-loving fellow from Dustwallow Marsh has a knack for getting into sticky situations.”
You need a Medic, not a Drink
“He is always trying to get a war veteran discount, but we believe his injuries come from not shaving properly.”
Keep it Private
“While she might fashion herself as a light-weaver from the south seas, she’s really more of a gossip-monger. “
Can you identify which 3 Hearthstone Cards are we talking about? Use the comments below to submit your answer and explain why you think your cards fit the bill.
The acidic swamp ooze(the extra text, says it loves flamenco), then the Injured Blademaster(same reason, the “flavor text”), and then the Secretkeeper i think, she looks like a pirate, and she gets buffed when a secret is “tell” (played).
What about their color?
well, green seems to be the theme, and both ooze and blademaster are green.. however our secret-keeper is a red-dressed blood elve… which was my first guess too. So only Kezan mystique fits the last one. And since flavour text is important, after a quick check, “hate been left out of a secret” does fit perfectly.
I spent ages searching under “Pirate, “South Seas”, and “Secret” for that last minion. No wonder I did not have any luck in finding the solution.
The Kezan Mystic’s emotes of “The light does not discriminate” and “Light it up” cover the fashions herself as a light-weaver part of the clue.
Sorry to take ages out of your life.
playing computer games is all well and good, but i strongly recommend to anyone who spends time reading up on made up computer game “lore”, that their time would be better spent reading a book
“playing computer games is all well and good, but i strongly recommend […] their time would be better spent reading a book”. Yeah! books are awesome, far better than computer games, especially hearthstone type computer game which gives no new perspectives to its players… not like “this war of mine” or other cool indie games which have cultural value… Still not any book… please. There are too many excellent books to waste your reading time on mindless entertainment… we got hearthstone for that. 😉
Wait… aren’t you the “troll” from another week? I thought you didn’t like this section… now I’m starting to think you just don’t like never wining in this section!
