Identity Enigma #1

While joining your friends at the local tavern might make for an evening of entertainment. Meeting new people can be just as rewarding, although maybe a bit dangerous. New faces pop up in the tavern all the time, countless stories are shared among the patrons, and often enough issues will be resolved right then and there. But have you been paying attention to your surroundings? Lets put your skills of observation and memory to the test and see if you can identify these strangers!
Welcome to Identity Enigma, the new puzzle where it’s your job to identify three Hearthstone Cards based on little clues. The clues can make reference to the card’s ability, its stats, its voice acting, or their flavor text. Maybe I’ll just reference their Warcraft lore, or perhaps just something that has made them notable in Hearthstone. What about having just a silly play on its name? Everything is possible on Identity Enigma!
Good luck, traveler.
The Woman That Broke My Heart
“I don’t think the long hours I spend playing games was reason enough for her to break up with me, but one of my friends ended up taking her side.”
Selective Bully
“This creature of the wild has the nasty habit of walking all over people that follow the rules”
Compulsive Organizer
“Known for his ready checks, he and his assistants were constantly trying to organize the patrons in parties of 5”
Can you identify which 3 Hearthstone Cards are we talking about? Use the comments below to submit your answer and explain why you think your cards fit the bill.
The Woman That Broke My Heart – Sylvanas Windrunner (Has no time for games and steals a “friendly” minion)
Selective Bully – Stampeding Kodo (Following the rules means 1 attack, which he literally stomps)
Compulsive Organizer – Raid Leader (Self explanatory, <3 WoW)
GG 🙂
I’d like to see the reasoning behind your choices
Oh sorry, I’ll elaborate. 😛
First one definitely sounds like Sylvanas, since when you play her she says she has no time for games and her deathrattle is taking over one of your minions, hence the friend siding with her.
For the second one, Aldor Peacekeeper makes one of your minions have 1 attack, following the rules he says, and Stampeding Kodo (a beast, hence creature of the wild) instantly kills one minion under 2 attack.
About the third, it just feels right since a raid in World of Warcraft is divided in groups of 5 people in the UI, and a Raid Leader’s duty is to organize both the raid and the people in it. He also has the ability to do ready checks, to see if everyone is good to go.
Hope that’s better! 🙂
Ding Ding Ding! Nailed it!
Ahh brilliant 😀 That should be some fun puzzles!
The first one could be Cabal Shadow Priest.
Second one must be Spampeding Kodo (since it destroys anyone who has to “follow the rules” that is, getting aldor peace-keepered to 1 attack)
And the third must be raid leader. (was thinking in the line of Grim Guzzler mobs first, but no one fit)
