Chromie has now been in the nexus for a few weeks now, and today now we’re going to take a look at this long range, heavy damage diminutive siege wizard and come up with a nice build that will take advantage of her range and high damage potential. Trait Timewalker Chromie gets her talents 1 level earlier than all other heroes. Pretty handy as you power spike earlier than everyone else in the field. Abilities Q Sand Blast After a second charge up, Chromie fires a ball of sand that deals heavy damage, a base 405 at level 1, to the first enemy hero it hits. This does not hit structures so save it for when you have a nice shot lined up. W Dragon’s Breath Send a dragon into the sky that comes crashing down onto your opponents heads after a 1.5 second delay. This also deals incredible damage, ...

Introduction First of all, sorry for taking so long to prepare this infographic. You may see why, it is HUGE! I analyzed 465 minions and had to put all of these into one sheet. My computer refused service with such a high dataload more than once, but now it is finished, the Forbidden Shaping infographic. The next infographic will most likely also take a while, as my real life, more precisely work, will be very stressful throughout June. So exspect me back wit hanother of these graphics at the beginning of July. I might be able to squeeze in a small one in between but I can’t make promises. As always, my analysis is intendend for Standard play mode only. The Card Forbidden Shaping is a card which was not conceived very well by the community when first announced. It is very heavy on the RNG side and most of ...

There’s a whole lot of news this week, with most of it focused around Blizzard’s newest IP: Overwatch. The game “officially” launches today but players have been able to join the fight since 4pm PDT on Monday and have been logging in like crazy. Have you ever longed for the old days of Star Craft? No, I’m not talking about like Wings of Liberty. I’m talking Brood War. The classic age where juggernauts would collide in fantastic contests of skill and management. There is a channel on twitch right now that is streaming 6344 VODs of Brood War 27/4, for the most part, including shows like Bnet Attack where a pro heads into battle.net to fight with random bnet patrons. The downside is that the vast majority of it is in Korean, but from time to time you catch a few english spoken games. I’ve caught some Tastetosis in their early days watching this channel. It’s a great little channel that isn’t nearly getting enough love for what it brings to the table. Go Check it out! https://www.twitch.tv/medrybw...

Blizzard snuck in a little item since open beta, but one that isn’t entirely unexpected. You can now order loot boxes in the game with real cash. By opening up the loot box menu you are presented with a shop and within there you can buy a bunch of boxes for real money. The prices are: 2 boxes: $1.99 5 boxes: $4.99 11 boxes: $9.99 24 boxes: $19.99 50 boxes: $39.99 This is a great way to get past that leveling grind if you really care about those cosmetic items and have some extra cash to spend. Do you plan on partaking in this shop? Are there any cosmetic items you are seriously aiming to get? Let us know in the comments....

Battletag Updates are Coming!

by pallimmanis on

With the upcoming launch of Overwatch Blizzard has been bombarded with requests from players for the ability to change their existing BattleTag. Since that is how players will be recognized while playing Overwatch, Blizzard has provided another free BattleTag update for all existing accounts. If a player is happy with their current BattleTag they will not be forced to change it, this is simply an option for those who wish to do so. In addition to this change, Blizzard announced that they are still exploring options that will allow players to change their tags more frequently in the future. While they do not currently have any plans they are aware of players desire to have that option. For more information and a link to the Account Management Dashboard check out the full post on the Battle.net Support Website or read it below....

May 10th Legion Dev Update Liveblog

by Crow on

Boisterous Youtuber Jesse Cox sits down with Ion @WatcherDev Hazzikostas to drop science about LEGION and we here to tell you everything that went down. Some analysis will follow depending on how quickly Crow can type. To watch the VOD, skip on over to Twitch, or just read on for Crow’s recap. Alpha to Beta Transition: Hazzikostas led off with this big announcement: this week, provided nothing explodes, the Legion alpha will be wiped and replaced with a more stable beta build. Invites for the beta test will be going out throughout the week, and the plan is for the beta realms to come back up at 2PM PST on Thursday (5/12) for testing. Much news was made of Legion going into beta in 2015 after it was announced at gamescom, but the devs later took a step back and realized that while previous beta tests had a degree on incompletion ...

by Crow on

Packaged along with the release of the first mission pack for the Nova DLC pack, these patch notes have a lot of content completely unrelated to Nova’s novert covert ops. Highlights include: A new Co-Op Missions map has been added, along with some balance shifts in Co-op Mission mode. Trophy Tops have been added to Automated Tournaments, and the 30-minute game timer no longer impacts the final game of the tournament. A host of bug fixes and UI improvements. And, of course, Nova Covert Ops, for folks who have purchased the DLC. Read the full patch notes below....
