by - 5 years ago

Good morning! BlizzCon has been (finally!) announced and here are a few things to know that have changed and been added.

Convention Dates: Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd.

Tickets Sale Dates:  May 4 at 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m.. EDT)  and May 8 at 7 p.m. PDT (10 p.m. EDT)

Ticket Purchase site (NEW!):  AXS – It also appears the ticket buying “line” will start ~30 minutes before the official start time:

Online waiting room opens approximately 30 minutes before on-sale time

To advance register an account go here.

Ticket Types: There are three types this year; BlizzCon Pass, BlizzCon Portal Pass (NEW!), and BlizzCon Benefit Dinner Pass.

Ticket Costs:  BlizzCon Pass = $229.00, BlizzCon Portal Pass $550.00, BlizzCon Benefit Dinner Pass $750.00.

Ticket differences:

Goodie Bag Change: It appears the goodie bag will be instead of one of either Alliance or Horde Collectable Statue that you will have to select at ticket purchase for Blizzard to know how many to make for a production run purposes.

Pulled from the Tip #5, in the  5 Things You Need to Know Before You buy a BlizzCon Pass You all but need the mobile app for AXS (iPhone and Android) to get in. If you have an issue, you’ll be able to go to the Solutions Desk for help:

To pick up your badge at registration this year, you’ll need to download the AXS Mobile App. The app displays a QR code (one code for all of your tickets), which changes at regular intervals to help guard against dupes and fraud. Because of that, we won’t be able to accept paper tickets, confirmation emails, or screenshots/photos of the QR code at BlizzCon registration.

After you buy your tickets, you should receive an email from AXS with instructions on how to download the app, or you can download it at any time for iPhone and Android.

If for some reason you find yourself at the show with a dead mobile device or some other unexpected issue preventing you from accessing the app, don’t worry. Just head to the Solutions Desk at registration and they’ll help you out.

Lastly, here is the hotel reservation website to use for finding your place to rest.

May you be quick and lucky and hope to see you there!
