Overwatch’s Uprising Event returns April 10

On Thursday, March 29, Overwatch tweeted out a clue for its next special event — Uprising. Last year’s dive into the past took players to Tracer’s first mission with Overwatch to help quell an Omnic uprising in London. On the surface, this year’s event seems to do the same.
But, I’d be surprised if we see the exact same PvE mission as in 2017. The Overwatch Team has had a year to come up with new ideas, and I’m sure they’ll have some new challenge in store for players. I could see last year’s mission still being playable, in addition to a new one.
Here’s the full video from Overwatch, it seems to be pretty straightforward:

Seven years ago would put this mission at the same time as the one featured in last year’s Uprising Event. So it’s entirely probable we’ll see another part or segment of the King’s Row mission from last year. Whatever the PvE turns out to be, there will be plenty of new skins, sprays, emotes and voice lines for players to collect.
Get those Reinhardt hammers ready — we’ve got some Omnics to smash.
