Last Week on BlizzPro: June 14th – June 20th

by - 8 years ago

Another week of 2016 bites the dust and with it comes a new crop of news from the various Blizzard titles.

Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch were the heavy hitters this week with the release of Medivh, Unranked Draft mode, and the beginning of the first official season of Ranked play. Along with these changes we saw hints of the next hero to potentially enter the Nexus and possible upcoming changes to Health Sustain.

On the Overwatch side of things we took a look at Lúcio and Zarya, changes to Widowmaker and McCree, Game Director Jeff Kaplan talked about the upcoming release of Competitive Play, and Blizzard celebrated reaching the 10 million player milestone.

World of Warcraft is also continuing to make progress toward the launch of Legion with patch 7.0 (the pre-expansion patch) released for testing on the Public Test Realms, and we got a look at the new Class Trial system being introduced for players to test a class before using a character boost.

All in all, not a bad week to be a Blizzard fan. Let us know in the comments what you’re the most excited about and have a great week!
